At Block Farms, we raise all of our animals humanely in open pens, not in confinement, like the large factory farms.
Our animals never receive additives like hormones or antibiotics in their feed, or through injections of any type. All of our animals are fed a rich diet of home grown alfalfa and barley. The corn in their diet is all grown and purchased locally.
When you buy from Block Farms, you are buying an all local product which utilizes a natural diet from all local farm sources.
We have all of our animals butchered and packaged at a State Inspected facility, which adheres to the highest standards.
The barley we feed our pigs produces sweeter pork, and the corn we feed our cattle gives the beef that taste that people the worlds over prize. Our livestock grown naturally, without all the additives which cause fast and unnatural weight gain. This produces a superior meat which your family will love.
Our Chickens are raised cage free, and are taken to a special facility to be processed and frozen. They are approximately 8-10 weeks old when butchered and weigh 5-8 lbs when dressed.
We also have Alfalfa hay for sale. $6 per 40lbs(+) bales. Second Cutting, Very High Quality. Deer eat it all.
